The deadline for submitting applications for Financial Assistance is 2008/05/31.
Financial Support will be given upon the evaluation of the country’s financial status.
The application will be submitted through team leaders.
It may cover flight, accommodation, and the registration fee depending on the demand and the economical status of the applying country. As a team leader, you may submit the information listed below by email to sec@icwip2008.org with the Subject: Request for Financial Assistance. Your case will then be considered by the Working Group of Women in Physics of IUPAP (WGWIP). All members of WGWIP are working hard to gather funds worldwide.
As a team leader, you must first make some effort to raise funds for your team. We have plenty of people in the world who need some assistance to attend this conference and we would like to support as many people as possible from the available budget. Therefore when you apply for support, please provide a reasonable estimate of the level of support that you request together with the possible funds you raised as comments. Please fill out the following items for each applicant for support.

1. Please give a reasonable estimate of the amount you need to attend ICWIP 2008.
2. You need to describe your potential access to funds that may allow you to attend the conference and briefly list the potential budget. Please enter any additional information that you feel may be relevant, but please keep it as brief as possible.
After your request has been e-mailed, you should receive an e-mail acknowledgement within a week. If you do not get any response within this time frame, feel free to send an email to sec@icwip2008.org (subject: Financial Support?) asking whether your request was received.
